Navigating life today has become increasing overwhelming in his post covid era, our book TRIBE (club) exists as a cultural haven celebrating Black and African authors. In the chaos of today's world, it provides an inclusive space for global connections, fostering understanding through transformative exploration of literature.

Beyond reading books, our mission is to encourage borderless literacy with instant access to literature that  reconnects minds, fostering a sense of community.

We exist to offers a platform for fun, friendship, and personal growth within the rich context of Black and African literature

2. Vote on Diverse Themes: Shape our reading journey by voting on monthly tribal reads. 
With a diverse range of themes, we shortlist three compelling books, and members decide which one we delve into.
3. Tailored Networking Connections: Discover new connections by getting matched with members who share your interests or are in your locality. This optional feature enhances networking and often aids in reading accountability.
4. Club Coaching for Reading Habits: Stay on track with your reading goals through Tribe coaching. 
We provide regular nudges to keep you motivated and share tips to enhance your focus and reading habits.
Opt out anytime if you aren't completely satisfied.
 
Join a global  community with members  sharing the literary journey creating lasting connections and 
enriching their knowledge and reading experiences.

How much is your Membership cost? Do you offer any discounts?

Our Stand alone onetime tribal meeting costs £15 per session.
There is a competitive Discount on upfront booking for 3 months 
We provide various discounts to make our CLUB accessible to children from all backgrounds.
 If you are worried about accessing the club, please get in touch and our team will do our best 
to provide the right type of support.

We offer sibling discounts - 8% off the 2nd child, 15% off the 3rd child and 20% off the 4th child. 
This discount is automatically applied at checkout

When does my membership fee go out of my bank account?

Once you confirm your membership, we charge the fee on the spot, and your quarterly or yearly 
direct debit is automatically set up. 
The payment frequency aligns with your chosen subscription plan —whether quarterly or annually, 
charged according to the date you signed up.

Additionally, we offer the flexibility to join with a one-off membership payment.

Can I stop my membership?

Yes.  You can stop your membership anytime by emailing us (mailto:soundofmypeers@gmal.com)at least three days before your membership is due to renew. 
We reply to emails every day, Monday to Friday. 
Once we receive your email, we will complete the cancellation process within 7 days. 
Feel free to kickstart your membership again whenever you're ready.

What is your refund policy?

To help you book with confidence, we offer a full money back guarantee in the unlikely event 
that your child doesn’t enjoy their first session. We ask that if you have any concerns or are unhappy 
with the level of service, to get in touch and we will do our best to resolve the problem as quickly as possible.

You can request a full refund at any time up until the end of  Their first Session only  by emailing us at soundofmypeers@gmail.com

Your membership is non-refundable once you start participating .

Your membership fees directly contribute to the growth and development of our community,
 allowing us to offer exciting opportunities and experiences to all of our members.

How big is each Tribe (Club)?

Cubs : 5-8 years 6 Members per club.
Hunters : 9-12 years : 8 Members per club.
Warriors : 13+: 10 Members per club.

Every club is led by reading  mentors.

Question 9

How often does the club meet, and for how long?

Accepted Answer

We gather TWICE  a month, usually for about an hour online meeting to engage in activities and discussions around the literary text we have selected .

Session Times

Cubs : 5-8 years 45 Minutes
Hunters : 9-12 years : 1 hour
Warriors : 13+: 11 hour

Every club is led by reading  mentors.
We ask that you log in to the session 5 minutes early to check your video and audio settings before the club begins.

Question 10

How do I choose a club time?

Once you have purchased your child’s Membership with Sound Of My Peers, you will be contacted to help choose a club time from the range of options available for child's Age Group and Tribe.

After selecting a time, your child will attend their Book club at the same time every two weeks for the duration of their Membership. 
If you are unable to make it to the scheduled time, please reach out to us for further support.

How do I access the Club sessions?

All  sessions are hosted on Zoom or a Video Link service and can be accessed securely through the member portal.

You just need to login to your account and hit the ‘Join Now’ button.
